God's Love

Do you know how much God loves you? Yes, even you the sinner.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

We need to know that the love of Jesus was costly on His part, and is undeserved on ours. There is no one, not your husband, your wife, your children, or their children, not your mother, no one can compete with Him in affection.

"Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only Son into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein we love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought to also love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us." (I John 4:7-12)

Everyone believes that love is important thought or feeling. In reality, love is a choice or an action. (I Corinthians 13:4-7). God is love, He is the source of our love. Our love is brought forth by His love. He loved us so much that He sacrificed His Son to give us an example of what it means to love. Everything that He did in life and in death was that of love. Through the Holy Spirit, He gives us the power to love. The Holy Spirit lives in our heart so that it will make us more and more like Christ. When we have God's love inside of us it will always require a choice and action. Do you display your love, that love of God in the choices and actions in your life?

"And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God." (Ephesians 3:17-19)

God knows what you are going through.

God knows when things are going good and when they are going sour. God knows when you are feeling blue and down in the mouth. God knows when you don't feel good, or if you are having a great day. God knows when we get concerned, frustrated, or just think we are going to lose it. God knows! God knows what you are going through in the midst of your tradgedy. God knows about your financial situation. God knows the struggles the we face each and everyday. If He is not part of your life all you have to do is ask Him into your heart.

God knows every little detail of your life, won't you share the rest with Him? He will encourage you. He will challenge you. Most of all He will love you!

There is not greater love in all the world than that our the Lord. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." (I John 4:10)

He is ready to carry you through every situation from minor to major. He is there in every circumstance. Won't you Trust the Lord for the hard stuff as well as the easy stuff in your life? We all go through suffering of some sort, so why do it alone? Let Him speak to you in the days ahead. He will gives us the strength that we need to make it through any circumstance when we call upon His name. "Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10) How much more when we have that personal relationship with Him.

What's holding you back?

Do you ever feel as if you're not going anywhere? Do you surround yourself with negative people? No matter how hard you try to stay away from that same familiar spirit you always seem to find them, or they find you? It could be something little as lying, backstabbing, always wanting to start trouble. Maybe fornication, lust, pornography only God knows. These could be some of the things that are holding you back from being what God wants you to be.

There was a certain man at the pool of Bethesda (John chapter 5). He had an issue, he had been sick for thirty eight years. Thirty eight years is a long time to be sick. "When Jesus saw lie, He knew that he had been now for a long time, in that case, He asked him, Wilt thou be made whole! The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me." (v. 5-6)

There would be an angel that would come once a year and trouble or stir the waters, the first to step in were healed.

"Jesus saith unto him, Rise take up thy bed and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed and walked: and on the same day it was the Sabbath" (v. 8-9)

When the man took up his bed and walked it was to show what God had done for Him, not that he had to be carried anymore. The bed had been holding him up, now he was holding the bed up.

Faith without works is dead. What kind of people do you hang around with? Do you have people who are their to feed of you spiritually, or are you being fed by them. Do you surround yourself by people of faith or people of wavering faith. Wavering faith is being sure one moment then changing your mind the next. Do you surround yourself with people who are sick. Critical, negative, jealous, envious, or in a social system of disfunction. Is your environment holding you back?

Be careful the environment you choose for it will shape you; be careful the friends you choose for you will become like them. - W. Clement Stone

Jesus is all you need! Let Him take control of the wheel.

Are you His servant?

Lord, help me to remain focused on the role as servant. We are to lift others up and encouraging each other by helping each other. Our sole purpose is to be under your supreme Lordship and to totally give ourself to you each and every day. Help us to humble ourselves and always be ready to ask how that we may serve.

"We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we don't give up and quit. We are beat down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going." (II Corinthians 4:8-9)

No doubt that there have been times when we have snarled in the face of adversity. Our Creator has built into each one of us a determination and strength to overcome the adversary. What we suffer now here on earth will be nothing compared to the glory that we shall receive later. (Romans 8:18) We are to rejoice in our troubles, even when you don't think that you can, this will get you through. The more that we give of ourselves the more that He can work through us. Help us O Lord, to see you! Help us to follow what you have for us today, and to live out our life even in the difficult times knowing that You are always there. Let us not get into dead routines. Let us spend more time in Your word, taking the time to get to know You. Let there be a strong communication between You and I as we begin each day.

Spirit of the living God, fall upon me afresh each and every day. I want to serve you with all that is within me for Your glory. Strengthen me with Your Spirit and power that I may know Your will and do it in every area of my life!

"I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go up for Us?" (Isaiah 6:8)

Are you stuck?

Are you stuck in that place and seem as if you just can't get out? Do you think that you are not making any headway? Do you think that you will never get past this time in your life?

God will allow things to happen to us to help us learn. He gives us these tests so that we may know who we are in Him. God trusts us with these tests and knows that we will pass them. He will repeat the test until we have passed it. God will not give us anymore than we can bear. We have to go through these trials to get set free of whatever is holding us back. It is always harder to finish our trial than it is at the start. When we get stuck in our trial it is better that we go to the throne, than go and start telling everyone what is going on. Yes, we should seek counsel if needed, but we need to pray and allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us. The Holy Spirit is the best counselor in the world. Lean on Him, trust in Him. The Holy Spirit will help us to understand how we must face what is before us.

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that he shall speak: and he will shew you things to come." (John 16:13)

We are not always set free of that trial that is set before us the moment that we call upon His name. Sometimes we must go completely through the trial and be patient and continue in faith. He will give us the grace and strength that we need to make through the trial.

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." (II Corinthians 12:9a)

We must go through the trial, before we can get out. In order to deliver us out of our trial we must first face those issues that we find difficult. We have got to learn to endure, and know that there is joy on the other side of our trial. We have got to learn and wait with patience. As we do He will reveal even greater truths to us, so we can face what we need to at the present.

God's Word

God's word is truth and life. "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free."

(John 8:31-31)

Every word that come forth from the prophets was first God breathed, He spake by the mouths of those whom He used. "As He spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began. To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace." (Luke 1: 70 & 79)

To say that part of God's word is not true, would be the same as calling God a liar. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (II Timothy 3:16) Righteousness means that we are to be in right standing with God.

"Every word is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him." (proverbs 30:5)

"By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth." (Psalm 33:6)

"For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast." (Psalm 33:9)

"Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven." (Psalm 119:89)

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)

To live as Christ, but to die is gain. We must believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We can not take the scriptures and only believe part, what would be the sense? We are not to add too or take away from the word of God! "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation, For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (II Peter 1:20-21)

Come to Me and Drink

"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believeth on Me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (John 7:37-38)

This is not drink as you suspect this is a drink from the Holy Spirit. "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:18)

We should not be drunk with wine unless it is the Spirit kind. If you are feeling mighty dry just look to the sky and ask for a fresh infilling, a drink from the Holy Spirit. If He has filled you back when, He will do it again!

"Therefore with Joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation." (Isaiah 12:3) There is a never ending supply of drink when you come to the well. "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let Him take the water of life freely." (Revelation 22:17)

The Holy Spirit is the one running the show, we need to yield to Him, and let Him take full control. When we drink from His Well we shall get, happy, joy, peace, power, freedom, healing, and change. Will we get a hang over? Yes, depends on how much you drink, but this hang over will be different. It shall be a Holy Ghost hang over. This is not that kind of hang over the world experiences.

Do you want to drink from that fountain of life, that fountain of living water? Do you want a drink that will satisfy every need? We need to drink from deep within. We need to drink from that Well that never runs dry!

I love You my Jesus!
I love You!
I want more deep down in my soul
where the river flows
and the flood gates will never be damned again by man.
Come to Me and drink and get your fill to satify every need.

Who is in control?

God is in control! He upholds all things by His power.... animal life, plant life, the galaxy and stars. Christ is the living word of God: the scriptures are the written word of God. If we truly are His we have got to know Him for ourself! We must get alone with the One whose name we say that we bear. Let him make a precious stone out of what you have given to Him.

How much do you love Me? How much are you in My word? How hungry are you? Do you long to be in My presence? My word- does it mean truth and life to you? Are you able to act upon the word that you have heard? My word will bring peace, healing, power, faith, revelation, food, fatness, victory and cleansing?

Are You ready for that journey that never ends?

"And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power." (Ephesians 1:19)

"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. (II Corinthians 9:8)

My Everything

Is He your everything?

Is He your hearts desire?

Do you long to be in His presence?

"If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." John 15:7

"For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness." Psalm 107:9

My Everything

You, O Lord, my everything!
With all my heart
to You I sing
I lay my life down at your feet
Cuz, You O Lord, my everything!
Song by: Donnie Adams

Is He your all in all?

When He becomes your everything, there will be a change that you can not explain.

You just can't get enough of His word, His presence, His joy.

You are in the arms of Love.

Our cup will run over and even the guest shall be satisfied.

Do You spend time praising Him?

Do you thank Him for His gifts, or do you just go about your day and take everything for granted?

We need to stay in His presence.

"The reality of God's presence is not dependent on any place, but only dependent upon the determination to set the Lord always before us. Our problems come when we refuse to bank on the reality of His presence." -Oswald Chambers.

His presence is always with us, but we are the ones who make the choice to be in it or not.

When He is your everything nothing else will matter!

Teach us Lord to enjoy You in every aspect of our day.

Teach us how to enjoy You for who you are.

Enjoying You.... You are the Lord!

You are my King!

You are my everything!

We are nothing without You, O Lord!

Dust we began and to dust we shall return.

Thank You for being my Everything!

"Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men." Psalm 107:21

Praise Ye the Lord!

Do you wait on God?

"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." (Psalm 27:14)

" Since ancient times no one has heard, no ears perceived. No eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him. " (Isaiah 64:4 NIV)

"If our waiting begins by quieting activities of daily life, and being still before God; if we bow and seek to see god in His universal and almighty operation; if we yield to Him in the assurance that He is working and will work in us; if we maintain the place of humility and stillness, and surrender until God's Spirit has stirred up in us a confidence the He will perfect his work, our waiting will indeed become the strength and joy of the soul." - Andrew Murray

Waiting on God is a very strong biblical principle to understanding how we are to live our life according to God's ways. If we are to have His purpose accomplished in our life, then we must learn the discipline of waiting on Him. Then we will experience the joy that it shall bring. We must wait upon our Master entirely and without reservation. We need His directions and we need to cheerfully receive them, and comply with what He has spoken. We need to be that vessel that He can use at any moment. If we as servants can not wait on each step that the Master has set before us there shall inevitably be confusion. A servant does not choose what he does, but obeys his master.

We as believers suffer things that will develop our steadfastness, it will deepen our character, which in return will test our character, our confidence that God will see us through. Let Him pull you through. Lean not on your own understanding.

"For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end." ( Hebrews 3:14)

We as Christians need to stay in that place of humility, stillness and surrender. We have to learn to wait, as so to comprehend God's purpose in our life. We need to wait as the Israelites did in the wilderness. They waited and moved as they were lead by day was a cloud; and by night was a pillar of fire.

A Divine Person!

Most of us begin thinking that the Holy Spirit is an influence; a force or something floating that produces a warm fuzzy and loving feeling in us. The holy Spirit is not any of that. He is a person! Someone in which we can know and love as a friend. The person, the Holy Spirit is external and living. He has no body like us, but we become His body when He lives in us. The Holy Spirit is one of the three persons of the Godhead. He is not the Father or the Son, but is experienced through their activities. As a person He possess all the attributes of a real person. He has a mind, He has knowledge, and He has a will. We will examine some of who the Holy Spirit is and what He does, so let's dive in and find out more about this person the Holy Spirit!"But God has revealed them unto us By His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea the deep things of God." (I Cor.2:10)

"We know not the plans that God has for us, but the Holy Spirit has all knowledge ." This means that the Holy Spirit has an intellect along with the ability to search out what the Father's plans are for us. The Holy Spirit is the mediator between the mind of God and the mind of man. "For what man knoweth the things of man, save the spirit of man which is in him? (I Cor. 2:11) This statement gives Him a will of His own that give Him the thought process or decision making process. The Holy Spirit has the ability to talk to us. "And the hand of the Lord was upon me: and He said, arise, go forth into the plain and I will there talk with thee. Then the Spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, go shut thyself within thy house." (Ezekiel 3:22-27)

Here he is not only able to talk to us, but He has given a command. "Brethern, the scripture had to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit foretold by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus." (Acts 1:16) He not only speaks to us so we can hear, receive, understand and share what we have learned, but at the same time gives us guidance.

"But when He the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on HIs own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come." (John 16:13) He will guide and teach us everything that we need to know. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom My Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you." (John 14:26)

The Holy Spirit is the creator of all. "In the begining God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters." (Gen. 1:1-2) He knows all because He created all. "All scriputre is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the mann of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." (II Tim. 3:16-17) God inspired by the divine Holy Spirit as in IIPeter 1:21b "but men moved by the Holy spirit spoke from God." In other words it was God breathed, God inspired that was sent to us.

Wow! He is all powerful, all knowing, eternal, omnipresent, omniscient, encouraging, guiding, giving us counsel are just a few of His attributes. The power of the Holy Spirit is need everday in everything that we do to help us cope with problems and complexities of the difficult time in which we live.

He wants us to get desperate enough for Him to be totally open to do whatever, and whenever He wants to do something in our life.We must be filled and continue to be filled with His love each and every day. We first must have a desire, then ask the Father for his precious gift of the Holy Spirit. "If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?" (Luke 11:13)

One cannot even try to understand Him as a person unless one has fellowship with Him, the Holy Spirit. When one has fellowship with Him, He will give you what you need right when you need it. He is always right on time. His time. He will show us things that will better help our relationship with Him. We cause Him pain when we fail to live as we ought.(Ephesians 4;31-32) We have to set the stage for Him to speak to us and through us. We must yield to Him. Stay in His word, and keep worshiping with Him. One just never knows where it will take them!

Are you free in Him?

" You are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you." (John 15:14-15)

Do you have that intimate one on one time with Him? Is His love intoxicating to you? Is His love extravagant to you? Are you moving to the beat of His rhythms, or are they yours? Are you free in Him? Do you have that joy that overflows even when you are not in His presence?

There is no greater love than this love! It will totally fulfill every need that you have, think you have or ever will have. There is ajoy that comes only from Him. The world has not this kind of joy! The world can not take this joy away from you. There is peace that only comes from Him.

Have you had His strong loving arms wrap around you and hold you lately? There is no greater love than to be in His love! There is no greater place than to be wrapped in His arms of love. His love will set us free...

Free from bondage, free of sin, free of depression, free of sickness, free of whatever is holding you back from getting to Him. There is freedom for you. Freedom to dance, to sing, to praise Him, to love, to live a life in Him. Who the Son sets free is free indeed!

He will break off that bondage. There is a freedom in Him that the world can't take away. How can we forget where we have come from? How can we forget what He has brought us through? How can we forget what He has done for us? There is freedom in Him! Thank You Lord Jesus for the freedom that we have in You! Thank You for setting us free!

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." (John 8:32)

"If the Son therefore shall make you

Are you pleasing Him?

But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he that comes to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

Are you seeking him? The Greek here means to crave, investigate, require... do you require his presence? Do you believe? Smith Wigglesworth said "only believe" -- just believe and desire him and you will be pleasing to him.

The word says he is a rewarder of those who seek him. He will restore you, repay you, deliver you for seeking him. Seek him and find that he is all you need today.

Does God shine through you?

I was reading this book and came across this prayer. I just wanted to share this my thoughts with you. Hope that you like....

Dear Jesus,

Help me to spread your fragrance everywhere I go.
Flood my soul with Your spirit and life.
Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly
that my life may only be a radiance of Yours.
Shine through me and be so in me,
that every soul I come into contact with
may feel Your presence in my soul.
Let them look up and see
no longer me, but only Jesus!
Stay with me
and I shall begin to shine as You shine;
so to shine as to be a light to others;
the light, O Jesus, will be all from You.
None of it will be mine;
it will be You shining on others through me.
Let me thus praise You in the way You love best,
by shining on those around me.
Let me preach You without preaching,
not by words but example,
by the catching force,
the sympathetic influence
of what I do,
the evident fullness of the love
my heart bears to You.
-written by Mother Teresa.

God should be the love of your life!

A life given over to God is a beautiful thing.
One can not express how much joy and love the

Is He.....

Is He your everything? Do you make room for Him or just put Him on a shelf and use only as needed? "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." (Philippians 1:21)

Are you running after Him? Is your life in Him? "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new." (II Corinthians 5:17)

Is He your prize? Is He your Joy? ": For the joy of the Lord is your strength." (Nehemiah 8:10) "Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit." (Psalm 51:12)

Is He your song? "Thy statues have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage." (Psalm 119:54) "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord JE-HO'-VAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation." (Isaiah 12:2) "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation." (Isaiah 12:3)

Jesus! Are you running after Him? Is He your strength? "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1)

Do you press into His presence? " I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:14)

Do you let daily problems keep you from His presence? "And He said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest." (Exodus 33:14)

Is He your everything? Is He your desire?

What is your hearts cry?

Is this your hearts cry? Do you want to be obedient? Do you want to be hidden in Him?

Lord, let me be obedient even unto death, this is my hearts cry! Lord, let our past be our past, take us further and deeper into your kingdom. Let us never to look back on our past and say gee, I should have done it this way or that way, or that we should have done this or that. Let us know that deep down in our heart that we have done right going about Your business. Hide us in You, that the only thing that others see is You! It is not what we can do for the Lord, but what He can do through us. We have got to let His light shine through us. I just want to be lost in you. I want to be obedient to Your call, Your will in my life!

"Casting down vain imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:5)

"And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." (Philippians 2:8)

Do you love Me?

Is Your faith in me?

My son bore all your iniquities on the cross.

How can you just put me off to the side?

Do you not know or understand what I have offered you?

I will not be second in you life! I want all of you or none. You say, you come with no agenda, that you come only to give me glory and praise. I am right beside you, Who wants to reside in you. I shall not wait much longer. I can and will help you with each step if you are unsure. All you have to do is ask.

I will not compete for second!

"For I say through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." (Romans 12:3)

My God shall supply

"But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

There is nothing that we have need of more than the Father's grace. Grace is the power of the Holy Spirit available to us to do with ease what we can not.

"It is in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, He had His eye on us, had deigns on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose. It is in Christ that you once heard the truth and believed it ( the message of your salvation), found yourselves home free, signed sealed and delivered by the Holy Spirit. This signet from God is the first installment on what's coming, a reminder that we'll get everything God has poured out for us, a praising and glorious life." (Ephesians 1:13 Message Bible )

"If ye abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you" (John 15:7)

Where is your strength?

"For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength:" (Isaiah 30:15)
Do you go about your day relying upon yourself? Do you ask wisdom from above? Do things always seem to get messed up? Do you feel as if your being pulled in many different directions all at once? Do you walk in His strength or yours? How much time do you spend in His Word? Do you do what you want, or what is right? Do you have peace about your decisions? Do you ever feel as if you are just getting back on track and you get whammied again?Do you trust Him to get you through the hard times as well as the easy times? Do you put your troubles in His strong and mighty hands? Do you have the strength to go on each day?
We get strength from reading His word. We get power from His word. We get peace from His word. We get healing from His word. "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10) "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength." (Proverbs 8:14) We have got to get His word in our heart; "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:" (Proverbs 23:7) "teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statues; and I shall keep it unto the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness. Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way. Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear." (Psalm 119: 33-40)

"I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me ( I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses inner strength to me: I am self- sufficient in Christ's suffiency). (Philippians 4:13 amplified) My horn (my strength) is lifted up in the Lord. There is none like the Lord, being in your presence makes my strength soar. " I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliver, my God, and my strength, in whom will I trust: my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my hightower.

" (Psalm 18:1-2) "Forever, O Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven" (Psalm 119:89) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments. I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O Lord according unto thy word." (Psalm 119:105-107) "And He said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest." (Exodus 33:15)

Lord saturate us with your presence, we want to stay in your presence continually. Help us to see past the minor infractions that are put before us each and every day. Let us see you in all your glory. We want to see you. Let us put everything in your hands, cause we know that it shall; it will be taken care of. Let us stay at your feet, as this is where everything begins. Lord,

Thank you for your strength!

Where is your trust?

"Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee." (Psalm 143:8)

We need to believe in Him to get the job done. We have got to come to the point where we lean not on our own understanding, but His.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5)

We have to keep our faith and hold on. We need to live each day in the moment. We need to use our faith- that now faith- now is faith. We need to live in the moment getting everything under the blood. Do you delight in His word? Do you take time to get to know Him? He will supply exactly that we need each moment as we look to Him. We are not to rely on self, but in Him.

Why wait? Everything that we need is waiting just for us in His will! Why rely on self guidance? Trust God! God know why we`are going through the things we go through. We must take all cares, worries, stresses, everything to the throne room and leave it there with Him. Don't go back and pick it up, for if you do it is as saying that you don't trust Him. We need to let our mind be overtaken by the Father. When we get in His presence, get into that place a rest, then there will be sweet peace.

"Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of His servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God." (Isaiah 50:10)

Do you rest in God?

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

Are you tired of always feeling defeated? Are you afraid or fearful? Are you to independent upon self or your circumstances? Is everything that you worry over have to do with self? Have you come to Jesus, and asked for that perfect rest?

Wherever Jesus goes there is a rest, as this is not rest in ourselves. Whatever Jesus has promised He shall perform. There is a spiritual rest that we must find, our Spirits are being conformed to that of the Lord. It is the Spirit who gives us rest. This rest has nothing to do with us resting physcially. We need to keep our mind as that of mind of Christ. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 2:5) When we keep our mind as His we shall find that rest. In this place of resting, there is abiding rest, a deep and growing rest. A resting place the deeper that we go on into His rest. There is no rest far more sweeter. Can one stay in that rest? Yes, I think so, if we keep the mind of Christ continually.

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed in Thee: because he trusteth in Thee." (Isaiah 26:3)

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7)

"There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God has from His. Let us therefore labor to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief." (Hebrews 4:9-11)

Whose we are and Whom we serve.

One Heart

"Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh, is anything to difficult for Me?"
(Jeremiah 32:27)
"And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me always, for their own good and for the good of their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them, to do them good: and I will put the fear of Me in their hearts so that they will not turn away from Me." (Jeremiah 32:39-40) "Call to me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and might things which you do not know. Behold I will bring to it health and healing, and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth." (Jeremiah 33:3,6)
God loves us and sees our situation, but when we doubt God's wisdom, we are disobeying Him. Through prayer we get relief from our doubts. If we let Him, He will work in our lives too. God will use His power to accomplish His purpose through His people. He gives us power to be all He wants us to be. One heart means to be radically changed to have every purpose and desire moving toward Him. A singleness of heart and action of love to and for God above anything else. When we are at this place nothing is to difficult for them that ask. Prayer is a form of assistance. Yes, He knows our needs and could take care of them, but by asking we are acknowledging that He alone is God, and that we can not accomplish anything in our own strength. We have got to lay aside our will, our worries and determine that above all we must obey Him! This is learning to trust God.

How often do you thank Him?

Our God is a good and gracious God. In your daily list of things to do how often do you give Him praise? Do you give time to thank Him? Do you love on Him? Where has He brought you from? Have you given Him the praise? Do you thank Him for the daily provision? Has He made a way where there seems to be no way? Has He touched and healed your body? Have you given Him praise?

For the Lord is so, so good, and His love endures forever more. Let's start giving Him the thanks and praise in everything. Everything that we have, or have had, or gonna have comes from Him. If you are having difficulties just look back over you life and see where He has brought you from.

Let's start thanking Him for provision. For His healing touch, even when we get those headaches, colds, crummy days. Thank Him for always being there, even when we don't think He is there, He is. Thank Him for making you complete in Him! Thank Him for his love. We as a society have lost the art of being thankful. We need to be a thankful people. God is a great and mighty God and He has loved us with an everlasting love. Thank you, Lord, for there is no other God like you! His loves endures forever more! Hallelujah!

"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (I Thessalonians 5:18)

" To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent, O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever." (Psalm 30:12)

Have you had a river experience?

Wow! What an awesome experience! The river is being in the movement of God. The river will hold you up, it will make you happy. Life is happening in the river, everything that we need is in the river. If you are tired and thirsty come and drink. Jesus said, "Whosoever drinketh of the water, I shall give him, shall be in him a well springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14)
Pino means drink. "They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the rivers of thy pleasures." (Psalm 36:8) Relax and float in the river, trust the river to take you where you need to go. Your destiny is in the river; it offers life, power, freedom, healing, comfort, and change. The longer you stay in the river the deeper and wider it gets. The river is new wine, you can't just watch you have to get in. The river is deep, the river is wide, and the rivers water are alive!
The river in us, directs us. This is the Holy Spirit, we are not the one's running the show. God is! "And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men dream dreams, your young men see visions: and also upon the servants and the handmaids in those days will I pour out My Spirit." (Joel 2:28-29)
"He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass; as showers that water the earth." (Psalm 72:6) The blessing coming down from the throne room of God for whosoever to drink from. Showers are what make up the river. The river is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. "What manner of saying is this that he said, ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come? In that last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying if a man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (John 7:36-38) Jesus is speaking of the Holy Spirit, baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. This brings passion, purity, and power! Wow! What a concept when we are totally covered by the river. He will do a deep work in your heart, and life, filling it with food and gladness. All that one needs to do is just soak in His presence at every opportunity. Do Not be in a rush to get out! Freedom that one longs for is found in Your control, that only You can satisfy our soul!

Do you spend time with God?

"Study to show thy self approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)

Do you study, or do you just glance at God's word? Do you at least spend five minutes with Him? Do you know that He longs to spend time with you? Do you like to play hide and seek? Do you want a proper understanding of God's word? Do you want that victorious life that will protect you from the tactics and traps of the enemy? Are you easily shaken by life's circumstances?

When we study from God's word we are to glean from the foundational truths that are set before us. It is an attempt to discover the principals that God has given to us. It is an encounter of the living Word of God, by the work of the Holy Spirit to produce in us a renewed a mind that will fully function in our destiny as believers in Jesus Christ.

"Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statues. With my lips have I declared all thy judgments of thy mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in the precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes; I will not forget thy word." (Psalms 119: 9-16)

Our soul purpose is to praise His name, and to seek His face for His glory!

Do you have the God kind of faith?

The God kind of faith is the kind of faith that a man has in his heart, and says with his mouth what he believes in his heart that it will come to pass. "But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:" (Romans 10:8)

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing the word of God." (Romans 10:17)

The faith that we are saved by in not of ourselves. It is not a natural faith, it has been given to us by God.

"For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according to God hath dealt a measure of faith." (Romans 12:3) The measure of faith that we get comes through hearing the word, believing it, and using it. The Bible, is the message of faith: the word of faith. Faith is given to us through His Word, as a measure of faith.

Just when did God save you? God saved you when Jesus died for you and rose again from the dead some two thousand years ago. You see, it only became reality to you when you believed it and confessed it. Salvation belongs to everyone. When we believe and confess we create the reality of faith in our own life.

Do you want that God kinda faith?

Have you been praying for that God kinda faith?

Guess what, you already possess that God kinda faith. If you are a believer you already have that God kinda faith. When we accept it reverently, and sincerely, faith comes. Don't be imprisoned with your own words. Don't let your talk and failures hold you in bondage. Start giving Him all praise, all glory, all honor. Start believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth His promises for your life. Start watching the changes. Let go of the negative and put in the positive. We should not be negative if we are called a child of God!

Are you ready?

"The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation." (Psalm 118:14)

What can God do for you? Are you ready for all that your Heavenly Father has for you? Are you ready to make that decision? Is your cry Lord help me, I can't make it on my own? Are you ready to step out of your mess into His strength? Are you to the point of helplessness? Do you want His Spirit inside of you and by your side? Want to walk in the power of His word? All you have to do is ask.

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21:22)

You must give of yourself to Him, not holding anything back. Let Him have your body, soul and mind, to be fashioned into all that His love and wisdom shall choose. Let Him mold the pieces of clay which you have brought before Him.

Once you give yourself, and entered into that glorious land flowing with milk and honey, having surrendered, you must ask Him to reveal any hidden rebellion that is in your heart through His Holy Spirit. Then you need to take that which you have given God and leave it with Him. Leave it with Him, don't pick it back up again! Now you belong entirely to Him without reservation. You are in His hands. Once you let Him take complete control of you will and your cares, it will be easier for His will to become your will. He will help you to change the things about yourself that are contrary to His word.

"Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest." (Joshua 1:9)

Have you lost your first love?

I had read something the other day by Patricia King and wanted to give my thoughts also. She had given a prophecy about returning to your first love. Here are my thoughts... Is He your first love ? Have you left your first love? Have you put things before Him? Do you spend time with Him? He wants to fellowship with you as you read His word, worship with Him. Do you pray to Him only when you need something, or do you have that intimate one on one time with Him? We have to learn to draw close to Him, and not let that light go out. Only in Him will you find everything that we need, love, peace, joy, everything! We must let go as our life will never be the same when we let God in control. Never will there be a dull moment. Why wouldn't we want to be in His presence, especially as He brings everything to the table that we need each and every time.

"Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love." (Revelation 2:4) "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; ans all these things things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33)

The Light of His Presence

1 John 1:7 But if we are living in the light of God's presence, just as Christ is, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from every sin
Life in the light of God's presence is a wonderous experience. Knowing that your every sin is covered by the precious blood of Jesus - what joyous hope! Place yourself in His presence. Thank Him for his shed blood. Praise the Holy Spirit. In the daily toil of life, it is so easy to put Him on the back burner. Challenge yourself to put God first today. Hold every thought captive to Him. Let Him reveal the power of the blood of Jesus and the joy of salvation today!

Have you been in His presence lately?

Are you on your agenda or God's?

We need to step out of the way, not letting anything or anyone keep you from getting to Him!

We have got to let the invited guest in.

When we get out of His way, He has room to work.

In His presence we feel the strength of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said, "If you call upon the Lord He has promised to pour out of His Spirit among us." Acts 2:17

If we don't call upon Him, there is nothing for us.

It's just that simple!

Being close to God, being saturated with His presence, is an encounter we shall never forget.

You will want this presence with you at all times.

It is a new level of intimacy where God is your only focus.

In a place where His presence is so strong to everyone and everything around you, there will be an encounter with God.

It brings love, peace, joy, peace, healing, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. Galations 5:22-23

This is what it is all about!

When God shows up, your heart will be completly engulfed with His love and you will never be the same!!

Truth and peace

I seek the Spirit of Truth today to guide me in all I do. The powerful Spirit that speaks to me and gives me wisdom.
But when He, the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all the Truth....

Your word I have hidden in my heart

Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You." Psalm 119:11
My friend challenged me that I need to memorize the powerful Word of God to avoid slipping into a spiritual rut. To be able to put the Word of God into action in my life, I need to know it.

I long to know your Word, Lord. I long to live my life according to your Word.

Jesus in Scripture

Jesus Christ is symbolized in every Book of the Bible, just look for Him and let the Holy Spirit reveal His presence to you...

Jesus in Genesis is the Creator God Gen 1:1
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Jesus in Exodus is our Liberating Paschal Lamb
Exodus 3:14 I AM THAT I AM

Jesus in Leviticus is our Sacrifice for Sin... the Anointed High Priest
Leviticus 11:45 …ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

Jesus in Numbers is our " Lifted-up One"
Numbers 21:8 every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

Jesus in Deuteronomy is our True Prophet... the Rock
Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, …

I will post more tomorrow...can you find Him as you read?

Thoughts of life

To live a life walking alongside Jesus, my thought life must change. Negative thoughts of myself and others can't be a part of daily life. Renewal of my thoughts into those that Jesus would have is a constant process.

Romans 12:2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is. (NLT)
Focusing on the goodness of God, on the presence of the Spirit takes discipline. But the results are worth it: a kinder countenance, a sweeter tongue and a heart filled with grace. I choose this day the life that Jesus has for me.

Deuteronomy 30:20 Choose to love the LORD your God and to obey him and commit yourself to him, for he is your life. (NLT)

Walking with God

Many years ago I read a book where someone asked the question, "Is it possible to spend every moment with God - to always feel in his presence and be in constant communion with Him?"

The writer began a lifelong journey of trying to discover just this one thing. He chronicled each day, and after a period of time (I believe 6 months) the tone of the writers words began to change dramatically. It was if he was becoming more and more like Christ, and his words and attitudes began to focus away from the things of this world to the things above. People that used to annoy him suddenly became people he cared about and prayed for.

I started this blog to begin this journey myself. I am not taking a lot with me, other than God's Word. I must meditate in His Words and write them on my heart. It will not be easy, because I have a full time job and ministry...I am not a Monk on a faraway mountain top that can seperate themselves from the things of this world naturally. I want to learn what Jesus lived, to be in the midst of the storm and still have perfect peace, perfect timing, and authority given from the one above.

I invite you to journey along...not walking with me but rather walking with Jesus...as the Holy Spirit leads.
