Do you consider your life your own?

"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait I say, on the Lord." Psalm 27:14

Have you sacrificed your wants and desires?

Have you sacrificed your needs for the good?

Have you asked How long, O Lord?

Do you seek your heavenly Father and His kingdom?

Whatever we have sacrificed it can never compare to that of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Just as Jesus sacrificed His life we must lay down our lives for others.

"Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord." Psalm 4:5

" This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you." John 15:12-14

We must remove ourselves from the world, and look to the word of God!

We must not look at the world's standards of success, but we need to Look to God for our validation.

Let nothing be done of selfish ambition.

"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Look not every man on his own things, but everyman also on the things of others.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:" Philippians 2:3-5

Being a child of God means sacrifice.

Sacrifice means giving up things that we really want, to do that which we need.

Sacrifice means taking on something that you really don't want to do, but do it so someone else will not have to bear that burden.

Jesus took our punishment for our sins when He died upon the cross.

"Behold I have given Him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people." Isaiah 55:4

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned away every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not His mouth." Isaiah 53:5-7

Who does your life belong to?
