Are you a defeated Christian?

Do you feel like a total failure?

Do you feel unhappy?

Do you feel discouraged?

Do you feel defeated?

Do you find yourself feeling afraid?

Do you find yourself feeling depressed?

Do you feel as if your life is falling apart?

Do you find yourself feeling sorry for yourself?

Are you too embarrassed to ask for help, because you don't want to disappoint anyone.

Are you fearful and tense, maybe even afraid of the situation?

Have you done something, a job perhaps, and the thought of returning is too much?

You keep plugging on just because you didn't want to let anyone down.

Maybe if I change locations, that will help.

It doesn't!

It is like taking a rotten, smelly apple and take it one place to the next, it is still rotten when you get there.

All these problems can not be cause with your environment.

It is what is on the inside that is wrong with you, not what is on the outside happening.

It's when you get to that point of desperation that you really start noticing, that point in which you want change, but how?

Are you willing to do what He wants you to do?

God will often allow failure to the point of breaking to prove a crucial truth: that we can not live our Christian life on our own power.

You can not be self conscious about what others think.

When we learn that we can not live our Christian life all by ourselves, depending on our own efforts, that is when God will step in.

We have got to trust God in everything!

Not in ourselves.

Not in our own efforts.

We have to let Christ live through us.

We have to let Christ live in us.

We must be willing to let go and let God!

When Christ comes into our life, He doesn't come in bodily form.

Christ comes into our life by His Spirit.

Once we have trusted Jesus as our Lord and Savior and received His Spirit we then must make a choice.

Are we going to continue on depending on ourselves or are we going to ask Him to run of life, to be director, the engineer, the power source.

God says that He will always be with us, even in the storms that come our way.

"for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrew 13:5b

":and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28;20

He is with us even when we don't even feel His presence.

"Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it." Gensis 28:16b

We can not do anything on our own power, on the strength of our own merits.

We can not do anything on our own desires, or our own expectations.

It is when we hit rock bottom, sometimes before we will call on God out of frustration, out of pain, out of panic, or whatever else it takes to get your attention.

We must humble ourselves and ask God for help instead of trying to struggle along all on our own.

I can hear God saying to you:

"I love you, but I had to tear down what is not of My Spirit, so I can build you back up. I needed to wound you so I could heal you. I see you depending upon your own strength. I see you depending upon your own abilities. I see you depending upon yourself. I have to let you experience failure so that you will call on Me! I have to let you experience failure so that you will depend upon Me for your life and strength! I love you. I want you to know Me, not just about Me."

It is through God in His grace that He will show us that we need Him.

We can come to Him with all our fears, anxieties and leave them with Him.

We need to trust in His Word, and His sovereign control.

It is just as a hot fire, it will melt away any impurities in order to strengthen and refine gold.

He will strengthen your faith.

He will refine your character, and teach you to walk by faith.

Faith is not a feeling but a choice to take God at His Word!

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1

I think God is in the process of breaking me down. It truly feels dry, I don't know if I have "the Living Waters" living in me but I have survived a couple things by the Grace of God. Things in where I couldn't have used my own strength. I don't know where to go afterm this.
