Sometimes we must wait.

"I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait and in His Word do I hope." Psalm 130:5

It may be a long time before you can set out on your task.

We must have our feet firmly planted on the ground as Jesus had.

It is waiting and learning to get from here and now to there and then.

We must learn to see God in everyday life and everyday actions and in the things of everyday.

In the waiting time we learn to love the world, and see God in creation and in all things.

In the waiting times we need to catch a glimpse of the truth and the glory of God.

It is here in our waiting that we dream dreams.

It is here where we learn how to pray.

When we wait, this is where we learn how to be faithful in the simple things.

We must start off with the elementary things, before God can give us the big task.

It is through the waiting that we learn many things for the task that lay ahead.

It is through the waiting time and the time of proving that God has for us, that will make us stronger, and prepared for what He has for us.

Through the time of waiting we are to seek God.

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
