Are you consistent or inconsistent?

"Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all." I Timothy 4:15

Consistency is.....

A jewel worth wearing.
It is the anchor worth it's weight.
It is a thread that is worth weaving.

Christ is even in that battle when we think that we don't need Him.

He is never too early or late!

He is always right on time!

He is never in a bad mood.

He is always available.

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and for ever." Hebrews 13:8

He is the same regardless.

When we are consistent we can count on each other being there for us when they said that they would be there.

Being consistent is true steadiness.

Being consistent is being reliable, dependable, trustworthy and faithful.

It is a commitment to do more than we are asked than just watching the time clock at work, or any other job in which we said that we would do.

consistency is being faithful in your tithes.

consistency is being patient regardless of the time.

We even need to be consistent in the way we treat others.

We need to be consistent even through those blasts of ridicule that seemingly punch us in the face.

Are you being consistent in your walk with God?

Are you digging into His Word on a daily basis?

Are you giving of yourself to help those around you in need?

Do you have that maturity level of consistency?

No matter what ups and downs that come our way are we ready to respond in consistency?

Paul the Apostle tells us that we need to "be instant in season and out of season.." II Timothy 4:2

We need to be happy.

We all need to work at being consistent even in the small things that life brings our way.

Is there something that really needs more attention at being consistent, work on that one thing first.

It is when we are not consistent that we get into trouble.

Do you show up on time as promised?

Do you do what you say you are going to do?

Do you follow through?

Do you always have an excuse ready for why you could not do as promised?

Do you seek shortcuts whenever possible?

Do you respect authority?

Do you always have to be center of attention?

Do you have low self esteem?

Can you answer yes to any of these things?

Take a moment and look at how you treat others around you.

Now think about those actions are they being consistent (responsible) or inconsistent(irresponsible)?

How do you measure up?

We need to be consistent and not shy away from it.

We need to take responsibility for our words, our actions, and our future.

We must not get weary in doing so.

" And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not." Galatians 6:9
