Does your flesh die daily?

"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not in us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in You.(Jesus)" 2 Corinthians 4;7-12

Are you always complaining that you get no recognition?

Do you think that people misunderstand you?

Are you one who is in a situation where that you think that your faith in Christ is misunderstood?

Well guess what, Jesus was misunderstood in His earthly ministry!

If you really want to die out to self daily you have to have the willingness to do so.

It will not just happen, it takes effort.

We must have a humble and submissive spirit.

God gave us a perishable container, our flesh, but inside He put an invaluable gift.

We have God's power dwelling in us!

He gives us the power to spread His good news.

He gives us power to do His work.

If it's His will it's His bill.

Knowing that His power is in us, and that it is not of ourselves, that alone should keep us humble.

Knowing that His power is inside of us should motivate us to keep in daily contact with the Father.

Even when we are at the end of our rope, there is hope!

Jesus died once and for all for us.

The cross is a culmination of an entire lifetime of Jesus dying out to self.

Jesus was willing to be misunderstood, and beaten, to gives up His comforts to take on the role of a servant.

We must be willing to die in the same way.

We must be that servant of the Most High.

When we die out to Him, He gives us His gift of life.

We will have that beauty grow in us.

It is like the old saying: "A picture is worth a thousand words."

The picture that you draw everyday will speak for itself.

You never know who is watching you.

You never know who may see that special light coming from you and want that same light.

When we die out to self each and every day then that light that comes forth can help bring another to that life that comes flowing from you.

If we are to live daily for Christ it will require dying out to self daily.

God has never abandoned us, so why do we not daily die out to Him?

With Jesus death on the cross we have that eternal life.

We are free to demonstrate His power and His presence in us!

All of our risks are for not.

"For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Philippians 1;21
