Are you a seeker?

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33

How do you begin your day?

To me, my answer can be summed up in the previous verse.

This is the only way to start off your day.

Matthew tells us to seek God first.

It is as easy as sitting down with the Bible and having prayer time.

It is asking Him what His will for us that day.

It is putting God at the top of our priority list.

It means putting God's Word first and foremost!

It means talking to God about our decisions before we talk with our friends and family.

We are to talk to God before we make a rash decision based on emotion.

We are to seek His will whether or not we are in a crisis!

We can still call on Him in times of great need or stress.

We are to have that daily walk with Him.

We are to have an intimacy with Him.

When we do not have that intimacy with Him our lives will become out of whack.

It is through daily meditations and prayer that we start to have that relationship with the heavenly Father.

Though our daily meditations and prayer we are cultivating God's Word in our heart for that much needed time.

There will come a point in our life that we will not have to make ourselves disciplined it will happen.

We will no longer have to fight that battle about soaking in God's Word we will just do it.

It will become our first and foremost goal each day.

Our first goal will be we must seek the God, His Kingdom and His righteousness.

He will be that first step upon wakening up, as begin the first steps of a new day.

When we seek God first we will come to know the Lord more intimately.

When we seek God first we will learn to depend on Him daily.

When we seek God first we will learn wisdom, and discipline.

When we seek God first we shall know He is there guiding us, protecting us, and always loving us!

God has promised to provide for us.

As you start to seek Him you will find that His rewards are immeasurable.

Seeking God first is not just practical but a command from Jesus.

If you do not really know what God is talking about pull out your Bible and let God speak to you.

It might just surprise you.

Come and go on a thrilling journey with God.

You will always be satisfied.

Come to Him seacrhing for His will for your life.

Come and get lost in God's Word.

Let it permeate your soul.

Let God have all of you.

Start by giving Him five minutes each day, and you will be amazed.

"But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." Luke 12:31

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Luke 12:34
