Is God dealing with you?

"For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth. ' Hebrews 12:6

God at times will deal with His people.

He chasten the one whom He loves.

He uses trial, and tests, punishment, problems and even disasters to draw men closer to Him.

Some of the problems that we face today we have brought on by ourselves.

Some things God will send our way just to see how we will fare through them?

It is what we must go through in order to have a better understanding of God's will in our own life.

It is when we choose to seek God that we will have that closer walk with Him.

The Master Blacksmith
"He beats us out upon the anvil of Days
And tempers us in strange and secret ways.
He heats us in passions and the joys
And happiness of life - such fire employs;
Then cools us in sorrow and the pain
Heats us, and cools us - then cool us once again;
Till if iron be good, He makes us men,
Or if iron be poor, He scraps us then
Perchance to try again another day
To temper in some surer, sterner way.
- Arnold Andrews

We learn from our failures and successes in life.

We don't always learn when someone tells us something.

We generally have to learn it the hard way.

From our experiences we learn the most important lessons.

It is through these tests and trials that we grow.

I know that sometimes we do not care at the present time whether we grow or not.

We have got to overcome that obstacle and prepare for the greater things in which God has for us.

'And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." Philippians 2:8

"Though He were a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered." Hebrews 5:8

"But Christ as a Son over His own house; whose house we are, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end." Hebrews 3:6

Don't fret because of the difficulties in which you are going through or about to go through.

It takes a tremendous amount of effort to climb a mountain.

The joy is what we get when we reach the top and look back, seeing all the difficulty we went through to get to the top.

It is through our difficulties that God develops us.

It is through those obstacles that we lean to trust totally in God.

"How in that great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality." II Corinthians 8:2
