To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness!

"To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, through we have rebelled against Him;" Daniel 9:9

Have you been hurtful to someone else?

Have you been hurt?

What are you doing with that hurt?

Do you plan on getting revenge?

Do you ever just sit and think about how you are going to make that person pay?

You have to give an answer for these before you can have that intimate relationship with the Father.

With God through the Holy Spirit we will know how to respond.

"Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." Ephesians 4:31-32

As God in Christ Jesus forgave you, so we are to forgive those who have hurt us.

It is when we don't forgive that our relationship with Him is in trouble.

Our relationship with Him will not survive no matter whom it may be with.

We will be in trouble in our relationships with our family, friends, co-workers, and with God because we have not humbled ourselves and forgiven that person who has hurt us, or we have hurt them.

No one said that it would be easy to forgive.

We are to forgive just as Christ forgave.

Jesus as for forgiveness for all those who persecuted Him, even hanging there upon that cross.

When we forgive someone we are to forget and go on, not to bring that problem up again later.

Peter asked Jesus, "How many times shall I forgive?"

Jesus answer was seventy times seven.

Jesus was not referring to a mathematical equation as most think, but in a spiritual realm.

Jesus was talking about unlimited forgiveness!

When you forgive you are forgiven by your Father in heaven.

When you don't forgive then you will not be forgiven by your Father in heaven.

The best thing to do is go to who even has offened you and ask forgiveness.

If you have offended or hurt someone go to them and ask forgiveness.

Let the Holy spirit lead and guide you into all truth and righteousness.

Let your Father be glorified by your actions

If Jesus can ask for forgiveness hanging on the cross for those who put Him there how much more should we be willing to forgive?

"Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye." Colossians 3:13

Do you have a new heart?

" A new heart also will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 36:26

Who resides in you?

Are you having problems spiritually?

How does your attitude reflect upon you?

Did you know that your heart is where all your life's issues are stored?

"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." Proverbs 4:23

When we are out of the will of God, then our heart will be hardened.

Sin is the biggest problem of the heart.

Sin is the most dangerous diseases.

"The heart is the most deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9

Do you know if what is effecting you is sin, self or satan?

No matter if it is natural or supernatural God is the only answer!

The cure was given us that day at Calvary!

God has promised to gives us a spiritual transplant, a new heart.

Your heart will be transformed.

He will take away all the heart of stone and replace it with His heart.

Your inner soul will be radically changed.

You will start flourishing for God when your heart is changed.

When Jesus is living inside of you, there will be a new way of life.

Your old ways will give way, and a new way will emerge, God's way will become your way of doing things.

Your life as you know it will fade and God's way will come, for He has made you a new creature in Christ!

You will have a new transformation of life in Christ.

Won't you let the Holy Spirit come and do His work in You?

"And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them, and their children after them:" Jeremiah 32:39

“Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honor is humility.” Proverbs 18:12

Humility means that you do not have an arrogant bone in your body.

Humility is not caring about impressing others, or even trying to toot your own horn.

Being humble is not being cocky, or full of yourself.

True humility is not thinking of ourselves as better or more important than others.

Humility is not to be confused with humiliation, which is the act of making someone feel ashamed.

When we are humble, we are staying within those boundries, and not reaching out to things above us, but submitting to authority.

Humility will remove obstacles that have hindered our faith walk.

Humility will uproot pride and will make us fit to be a vessel ready for His grace.

But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it.” James 4:6 Amplified “Submit yourselves therefore to God.” James 4:7 KJV

Pride is the sign of destruction.

Pride will prevent us from receiving from God.

Pride will sneak up on you and you won’t even realize it is there.

Pride is the most serious sin.

God is greater than any sin!

God’s desire is that we would experience freedom that can only come when we experience His forgiveness and grace.

Have you taken that gift of salvation or do you struggle with just the thought of freedom in Him?

It is not enough to be emptied of evil, but we must be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, so that we can accomplish the purpose He has for our life.

Jesus did not look at each one of us and then decide whether we were good enough to receive His forgiveness, He offered it freely.

His forgiveness is unconditional!

If there had been something for us to do or not do, then His forgiveness would have been based on performance instead of grace.

We can not make it without God!

He is present, not distant, and He waits for us.

Jesus was always teaching about humility.

Jesus loved us so much that He took a servants towel, put it around His waist and proceeded to wash His disciples feet.

He humbled Himself. He was not looking for fame, fortune, status or reputation, He took the form of a lowly servant.

While Jesus was washing the disciples feet, He was showing us a humbled spirit of servant hood that we as believers are to show one another.

The passion of our walk with Christ is to deliberately sign away our own rights to become a bond slave of Jesus Christ." - Oswald Chambers

"Let us go to Calvary to learn how we may be forgiven. And then let us linger there to learn how to forgive.” -Charles Spurgeon

Is He the source of your strength?

Is He the strength of your life?

Have you given Him all of you?

Do you have a deeper hunger?

"Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!" Matthew 5:6 Amplified Bible

Do you want more of God?

Do you have that joy that bubbles over?

Do you care what others think about you?

Do you know what thinks about you?

Do you long for happiness?

Do you long to have more of God in your daily life?

Do you still have a desire to sin?

Do you struggle between sin and righteousness?

Are you satisfied with the way things are going in your life?

Righteousness is a big word for just doing what is right in God!

God wants us to be happy.

When we are obedient we experience His blessings and His joy.

You don't have to wait to get to heaven to experience happiness, you can have it here while you are on this earth.

One of the biggest reasons that there is so much trouble in the world today is that we are not right with God!

Everything that is offered is for our happiness, but is it really?

Do material things make you happy?

for how long?

We may get a season of happiness out of what that material thing has brought, but then there is a desire for more.

God is the only way to true happiness!

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." John 14:6

Each one of us has our off days.

As humans we are not immune to bad days, but we do have the power that can change our steps towards accomplishment.

It does not matter what is happening in your life today, God's Word declares that there is goodness and mercy in the midst of what we are going through.

No matter what we are going through God should be the center.

We are to praise Him no matter what!

"This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

We are not to let the material things of this world steal our hunger and our joy from God.

Material things will pass away, but our God will forever be here!

Do you want the world's happiness or God's happiness that is eternal?

To have a desire for righteousness is to have a desire to be right with God.

To be right with God we must want to be sin free.

It is sin that comes between us and our heavenly Father.

Who would want to be bound up with sin?

Do you enjoy not doing right?

If you truly have a desire for more of God than you will set that besetting sin aside and come for that closer walk with the Almighty!

It is a desire to nothing less than your best through Him in your daily life!

It is having that deep longing in your heart for more of God, that only He can fill.

It is having that right relationship with Him.

It is living that acceptable life for Him, and letting Him work through you!

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33

"He that believeth on Me, as the scriptures hath said, out of His belly shall flow rivers of living water." John 7:38

What do you give Him thanks for?

"We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you," Colossians 1:3
How often do we only thank God for the things in which we can only think of?
Why is it so hard for us to think about what we are thankful for when other people ask us?
We ought to be more thankful than just one day a year!
We should still be thankful even in the impossible times.
Have you given Him thanks for being here today?
Have you thanked Him for that next breath?
Have you thanked Him for your friends?
Have you thanked Him for the opportunity to be able to speak to others about Him?
Have you thanked Him for your health?
You say that you don't have much, but have you taken the time to see what others do not have?
Even those that do not have they have something that most of us lack, and that is joy.
Do you spend your time complaining about what you don't have but others do?
We as Christians are commanded to be thankful, it is not an option!
So, take a few minutes and think about how really thankful you are.
Don't let a day go by without telling your heavenly Father just how thankful you are, and that He is your heavenly Father who never gave up on you.
"It came to pass, as the trumpters and singers were one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lift up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For He is good; for His mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;" II Chronicles 5:13
"Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations." Psalm 100:4-5

Ever think about what you do?

"Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; consider your ways." Haggai 1:5

How often do you stop and think about the happenings of everyday life?

God is gently asking us where our priorities lay with everyday matters.

Where does God take precedent in your life?

Is He in your everyday matters at home, or at work, in your business, at school, in your relationships, in your thought life, in your actions?

Are you a take charge type of person?

Are you a procrastinator?

If you procrastinate, did you know that you are robbing God of blessing you?

Did you know that when you procrastinate you are robbing yourself of a chance to do God's will?

There is work to be done, no time for procrastination.

Do you have a habit of saying later or hold that thought, or I will in a minute but the time never gets there?

"Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses and lie waste?" Haggai 1:4

Are you going to let your temple be ruined?

How often do we find ourselves doing what we enjoy, but we are not spending time with Him.

How often do you put things before God?

Do you spend time with God, or is He just there as you need Him?

Have you been in that secret place with just Him and you lately?

You have to feed you body to live.

More importantly you must feed your soul.

Souls are the only thing that each one us have that we get to take to heaven.

Maybe not having enough time is the problem.

Maybe the problem lies within how you spend your time.

How do your priorities stack up?

"You have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Thus saith the Lord of hosts; consider your ways." Haggai 1:6-7

Is Jesus your Shepherd?

"The lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His names sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." Psalm 23

The Lord is He your shepherd?

Are you a sheep in His flock?

Will you follow Him everywhere?

Do you find contentment with Him?

Do you find comfort in Him?

Righteousness is doing what is right.

Are you on that path?

Our life is but a vapor.

We just think that we are on a journey of our own.

We are on that path in which God has chosen for us!

When we are in His presence there is no evil to fear.

His presence is Holy!

Thank Him for His sovereignty.

Thank Him for that banqueting table that has been laid out before you.

Thank Him that He has anointed us, chosen us to be one of His disciples.

Thank Him for all the provision as the cup He gave us runneth over.

Thank Him for His goodness and for His mercy.

Thank Him for His beauty and manificence.

Thank Him for that opportunity to dwell together with Him in eternity.

"I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise unto thy name, O thou most High." Psalm 9:1-2

Do you really know Him?

"That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death;" Philippians 3:10

How well do you really know Him?

There are different ways to get to know someone.

You might know someone from work, school, church, social function.

You may even know someone about reading about them in a newspaper, history class, or even hearing about them on T.V..

You may have even learned about someone through hearsay.

We may say that we know someone, but how do you really know them?

Take a minute and think about it, how many people do you really have an intimate relationship with?

When we are intimate with someone we spend a lot of quality time with them.

We find out their likes, dislikes, what their favorite thing is, we get to know them personally.

We get to know their heart, their mind and their thoughts.

The way that we are intimate with others is the very same way that our heavenly Father wants us to be intimate with Him.

Having a meaningful relationship with our heavenly Father is not the same as a casual relationship!

We are to know Him in the most personal and intimate way!

Our heart and soul should be crying out for more of Him!

Do you want more of Him?

"Yes, futhermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the anointed One). Philippians 3:8 Amplified

You see we are to truly know our Lord and Savior.

Knowing Him is not just by words, or deeds or even actions, but by believing on the One whom we believe.

It is a quest to even know more of Him.

So how do we achieve such a goal?

We can start by trusting in Him.

We can glean from His Word.

We are to take what we have learned, what has been taught to us, and use it in our daily life!

We are to get together with Him in prayer.

We are to learn His heart.

Don't you want a heart like David?

God said that David's heart was after His very own.

We are to let the illumination of the Holy Spirit reveal truths to us.

God is trying to tell us that He is more than enough.

He is more than we will ever need!

His desire is that we would desire Him more than anyone, or anything else in this life!

"And my God will liberally supply (fill to full) your every need according to His riches in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 Amplified

"And they that Know Him thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee." Psalm 9:10

Do you know true humility?

"Learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart." Matthew 11:29

How closely are you following in the footsteps of the Master?

What do you think the hardest lesson in life to learn is?

Meekness and humility are probably one of life's lessons to learn.

If we are to shine for God, we first must walk in humility.

When we critize someone we are not showing humility but pride in action.

When we are proud will seperate us from God.

When we flattering yourself that you are walking as close to God as humanly possible, you are not using humility.

Flattering is self deception.

Flattering is only thinking of ourselves and not what God's heart is.

When we speak of how humble we are we have essentially lost that humble spirit.

We have stepped out of position for that gift.

When a man is proud and lifted up he will be washed and barren of all fruit.

You see, it is when we get down low and humble ourselves that God will use us for His glory.

God will bring blessings to him.

We are not called to be impressive but to let Him be effective!

We are not to boast about what we have done, but about what God has done!

When we are proud, self serving, arrogant we are putting the "I" in the picture and leaving God out.

There must not be any "I" in the picture.

When we are humble there will not be any I, but what will you have me to do, Lord.

John the Baptist said it best...

"He must increase, but I must decrease." John 3:30

We are to be nobody.

We are to be heard and not seen.

We are to be His voice.

We are called to bear witness of His light.

We only reflect His glory, we don't produce it.

We are called to keep our flesh out of the way so others can see that Light.

Jesus is that Light!

When people look at you are they seeing the reflection of His glorious Light?

We must learn to be humble.

We need to lower ourselves just as our Lord and Savior did.

"But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God should taste death for everyman." Hebrews 2:9

We need to let God do a work in our heart that is effective not just impressionable.

When we learn humility, we are on the way to victory.

You have nothing to lose when you submit to the Will of God for your life!

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: I Peter 5:6

"For thus saith the High and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with Him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones." Isaiah 57:15

How bright does your light shine?

"They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever." Daniel 12:3

Do you take a stand for God?

Are you true to the end?

Do you give up your faith?

Do you stand firm in your faith towards God?

Moses was a man who stood firm in His faith.

Elijah stood firm, and was a light in the dark.

Paul had the first light as a missionary.

we essentially are to be like these examples.

They each taught about the God in whom they served.

They let their light so shine!

We all like to have our light shine.

Is your light shining for the right thing?

Do you want to shine so bad that you are willing to outdo your neighbor?

Are you always struggling to be the greatest?

"Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women therehath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. " Matthew 11:11

"And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethern, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my name sake, shall receive an hundred fold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first." Matthew 19:29-30

It seems such as small thing to hold up the light.

It is not such a small thing when a life is saved through that light.

God will keep that light burning, but if we do not do our part that light will go out.

We are to represent Him down here on this earth.

Jesus represents Him up in heaven.

If we as Christians are not willing to save others only just ourselves it is such a great ingratitude.

If we as Christians are not willing to go out and to rescue others who will?

We do not need to go out and preach to others, although that is good, it is to let the Light shine through our life, our actions, reactions, everything about us.

Do your walk match your talk?

Sometimes an act of kindness will go further than preaching at someone.

Let that Light so shine in your life that it may draw them to the light and away from darkness.

God wants us to show gratitude for Him rescuing us.

If He has rescued you then we should be looking to see if there is not someone else out there that needs to be rescued also.

Do you look to see whom else can be rescued?

We are to be that light to point them to Jesus.

When we are keeping our light in the right perspective then we are showing the reality of our loving Father.

So today my question to you is does God's light shine forth in your life or has it gone out?

Has someone or yourself come between you and God?

Were you a teacher of God's Word?

Were you so on fire for God and now you can't even get a flicker?

Have you lost that light that joy?

If so you can come back to God's love.

He is drawing you.

He is talking to you.

Come back and lay everything at the feet of Jesus.

Let the Savior's love light back that torch a new in your life today.

Let that light so shine for the Father above.

"For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light." Psalm 36:9

Do you listen for God's voice?

"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:" James 1:19

Do you long to hear your lovers voice?

Is your Spirit fine tuned to His voice?

Do you listen to hear His voice?

Do you listen to the voices of the world?

Do you let the business of everyday life rob you of His riches, or His gifts?

Do you keep God the center of things?

We need to look to God for everything, big and or small!

As we keep Him first in everything He will speak to and through us.

When He speaks He speaks healing, life, peace, joy, prosperity.

When He speaks it is all joy.

We must come to that place of letting God do His perfect will in our life.

This is called total surrender.

Total dependency upon the One whom created us.

It is a longing to hear that voice that has been gone for awhile and you have not hear that voice.

It is being Love sick so to speak - love sick to hear His voice.

Who would not want to be wrapped up in the loving arms of the Father?

It is God pouring out His love for us!

"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21

So you think you are handicapped?

"Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands."

So you think that you have a handicap?

Have you ever told God, here I am use me, but then you come up with some excuse for Him not to use you?

Did you know that He is the Potter and we are the clay on the Potter's wheel?

"But the pot He was shaping from the clay was marred in His hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as it seemed best to Him." Jeremiah 18:4 New International Version

Most of us see things differently from God.

We think that our problems should be solved a certain way.

But God.

God will come up with a creative way that we would not even have thought of to solve our problems.

"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21

Do you know what makes you handicapped?

What makes one most handicapped in my opinion are those who are troubled by negative thoughts and low expectations, and they let them rule over their thought life and life in general.

You may actually have a handicap, but it is how you see yourself through that handicap.

Do you feel sorry for yourself?

Do you expect less of yourself ?

Do others expect less of you?

Do you expect others to feel sorry for you?

Are you living with your handicap and letting God work through you?

Do you know that we would be far more limited that we are if we did not have the Potter's loving hands upon our life.

Our handicap or disability is only temporary.

Go will use us to touch others lives while we are here on this earth.

God will allow our disadvantages to advance beyond the order in our lives to bring maximum glory for Him.

God, releases power and infuses energy into our lives..

Our walk with God is not always neat and tidy or predictable.

Our walk is about Jesus, not about something or someone.

It is about Him and Him alone!

We must fight to remain free in God.

As we fight to stay free in God we are fighting to stay satisfied in God.

It is when we deny our disability through our weakness that we will realize the strength of God that we have.

It is through His strength that we can do all things!

"And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." II Corinthians 12:9

Our purpose in life does not depend upon understanding God's plan.

God loves us so much that He gave His only Son to die for us!

For you and me, right here, right now where we are.

God Himself is the answer to all of our questions.

He is there even through the pain!

He is there even through our sufferings!

He is the answer!

":for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5b

"There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so will I be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." Joshua 1:5

How busy are you?

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7

How busy is your life?

How much time do you spend with God compared to all the other things that you do?

Do you have a case of busy sickness?

Do you know what the first commandment?

"You shall have no other Gods before me." Exodus 20:3

This means that you are to have nothing before God, not husband, wife, children, job, activities, t.v, nothing should come before your God.

Are you putting God first?

It seems like in the society in which we are living today we are pushing God away instead of getting closer and spending that quality time with Him.

Have you stopped to take a long look at yourself to see where God is on your agenda lately or maybe your too busy?

We as Christians are a unique people, and God has called us to live as His unique people!

Ya know that we all sin, and there is not one of us who is sinless.

We all fall short and God wants to gently remind us and pick us back up and help us get back on that right track.

If you don't want more of God in your life and you profess that you are a Christian, you need to check your heart to see if it is right with God.

God is calling us to come up higher in our standards and not to back down.

We should be happy for who we are and who He has created us to be!

What are you actions saying about you?

Does your walk match your talk?

Let us strive to put everything that God gave us back into the Creator as HE created us for His pleasure!

We need to get into the place where when we wake up each morning that we say ok, God what is will for my life today, not what man has planned.

We need to be in that place of total dependency upon God and God alone.

How do you start your day before your feet hit the floor?

How does the start of your day effect your feet after they hit the floor?

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Matthew 6:21

Friday, November 03, 2006

Do you have knowledge or Wisdom?

"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding, and eternal weight in glory." II Corinthians 4:17

When we have knowledge we have an understanding of things or we have information about things.

Wisdom is the ability to apply that knowledge to our daily life.

Wisdom is not the ability to try and figure out what God has done and why He has done it so.

wisdom is not trying to figure out what God will do next.

Wisdom is trusting in Him even when things look their worst.

Wisdom is trusting in Him even when things don't seem fair.

Wisdom is trusting in Him even through the difficult times.

Wisdom is trusting in Him no matter what!

Even though we think not, it is for our benefit that we be not satisfied in this world.

For this world that we now live in will pass away.

We must separate the temporary thing from the eternal things.

It is the eternal things which last.

Our pain and our sufferings that we all endure are but for a moment.

Our hardships that we all endure is nothing compared to the weight of His glory.

God's glory out weighs the scales on all sides.

God's glory is eternal - it will never fade away!

We as humans can fail.

We must get back up and keep getting back up.

When we are faced with hard times, let your faith pull you through.

Through your faith you will be able to overcome that situation.

Also through your faith it will help encourage those around you.

God's is the only opinion that matters!

You have nothing to lose.

Submit yourself totally to God will in your life.

Rejoice in those light afflictions that we endure, and let God's glory rest upon your life.

"Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations." I Peter 1:6

Are you a Mary or a Martha?

"Now it came to pass, as they went, that He entered a certain village: and a certain woman received Him into her house.
And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus feet, and heard His word.
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to Him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid here therefore that she help me.
And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Luke 10:38-42

Are you wrapped up in other things other than Jesus?

Do you sit at His feet?

Do you strive for perfection?

Martha was busy getting things in order for her honored guests.

Martha thought that Mary wanted to only relax with the other guests and enjoy the stories.

Mary was sitting down and hanging onto every word that Jesus spoke.

Being in His presence meant more to Mary than anything else in the world.

Mary, nor did anyone else care if the dishes were not taken away immediately, or if they had drink, they were all there in His presence, hanging on His every word.

They did not want to miss out on the moment.

That one thing that Mary had chosen that would never be taken away was being in His presence!

Do you go about you day and try to fit God in?

Do you spend that quiet time with Him?

It is when we don't have that time of fellowship with Him that we find much frustration.

Jesus was not putting Martha down for her gifts that she offered Him, but was encouraging that gift that Mary was receiving.

What have you offered lately?

We have to offer ourselves if we want that deeper relationship with God.

Each day we need to be more the person He created us to be.

God, He is a good God, and He loves you!

He loves you enough to have a beautiful loving relationship with you.

He loves you enough to touch and heal your wounded soul.

He loves us so much!

He can not love you anymore, and He has never loved you any less!

Won't you come on a life long journey that will never end, but it will get sweeter as each day goes by.
