Have you danced with God lately?

"Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Psalm 37:4

What do you see when you meditate upon the word...

Guidance

Do you see the word dance?

When we are doing God's will it is much like dancing.

No two people can lead.

Nothing will work out right.

As you try to dance, you will not be able to flow.

It is only when we let God lead that we will be in His flow.

Two must become One.

When we dance, one must be able to surrender everything to the one whom is leading.

Do you and God dance?

Is it me before thee?

Is it U before I?

God U and I dance, Ok?

When we ask for Him to lead us we must be willing to follow.

There will be no doubt that we have to be willing to let God lead us.

We need to dance daily with God.

Have you danced together lately with Him?

We are to trusting Him to lead guide, and direct us through each trial and season of our life.

Are you dancing with Him?

Do you make Him your everything?

Do you press into His presence?

Is He your prize?

Is He your joy?

Is He your song?

JESUS.

Enough said.

Are you running to dance with Him?

Is He your strength?

Is your life found in Him?

How much does He really matter to you?

"Then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him," Proverbs 8:30

A Special Message

I LOVE YOU!

One morning you will never wake up.

Do all your family and friends know you love them?

I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week.

I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said.

Let every one of your family and friends know you love them.

Even if you think they don't love you back, you would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do.

And just in case GOD calls me home before I see you again.......

I LOVE YOU!!!

"Beloved if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." I John 4:11

Isn't it strange?

My friend sent this to me and I wanted to share this with all.
Thank You, Deanna.
Isn't it Strange...

Isn't it strange how a 20 dollar bill seems like such
a large amount when you donate it to church,
but such a small amount when you go shopping?

Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when
you're at church, and how short they seem when
you're watching a good movie?

Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say
when you're praying, but you have no trouble
thinking what to talk about with a friend?

Isn't it strange how difficult and boring it is
to read one chapter of the Bible,
but how easy it is to read 100 pages
of a popular novel or a new magazine?

Isn't it strange how everyone wants
front-row-tickets to concerts or games,
but they do whatever is possible to sit
at the last row in Church?

Isn't it strange how we need to know about
an event for Church 2 or 3 weeks before the day
so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust
for other events in the last minute?

Isn't it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact
about God to share it with others, but how easy it is
to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?

Isn't it strange how we believe everything
that magazines and newspapers say,
but we question the words in the Bible?

Isn't it strange how everyone wants a place in
heaven, but they don't want to believe, do,
or say anything to get there?

Isn't it strange how we send jokes in e-mails

and they are forwarded right away,
but when we are going to send messages
about God, we think about it twice before
we share it with others?

Strange isn't it??

"Beloved think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you." I Peter 4:12

Are you willing?

"Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come." John 16:13

Are you ready to be guided by the truth?

Are you ready to hear whatever He has for you?

Are you ready for Him to disclose certain things to you?

Are you willing to let go and let God have free reign in your life?

There was only One perfect man who was without out sin.

We all have sinned at one time or another.

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us." I John 8- 10

Do you claim to have no sin?

Do you acknowledge that you have sin?

God is just.

He is the only One who can wash away our sins.

Let Him wash your sins in that blood that flowed that day on Calvary's Hill.

He wants to shape us and mold us.

He wants us to walk in His power.

He wants to transform our life.

He wants to use us.

We need to come to the point each day that we thank him for that next breath.

Instead of us saying I can't wait to see what you have for me today, we need to be saying Can you use me today?

Lord, if you can use me, send someone in my path today that needs Your help.

Let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you one step at a time.

I ran across this hymn that a lot of us sing.

Spirit of the Living God
Fall afresh upon me.
Spirit of the Living God
Fall afresh upon me.
Melt me, mold me,
Fill me use me.
Spirit of the Living God
Fall afresh upon me.
- - Daniel Iverson

Are you ready to say don't let me go my own way?

Are you ready to be filled with His peace?

Are you ready to be filled with His power?

Are you ready to be filled with His presence?

Are you ready to be filled with the Spirit of the living God?

He is not imaginary.

He is very real!

He will be with you!

He will mold you!

He will shape you!

Have you asked Him yet?

"And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, he heareth us. And if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him." I John 5:14

If you sincerely want Him to use you, just ask Him.

Lord, I want to be used by you.

I want you to fill me for the journey.

Lord, mold me and shape me into the image that You want.

Lord, I know that this is not a one time thing.

I know that this is a daily commitment, help me each and every day.

I just want more of you!

More of You and less of me, that is my heart's cry.

Lord, I love You!

I want to do Your will!

Come and be glorified in my life today.

"For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye , being rooted and grounded in love." Ephesians 3:14-17

Have you been purified lately?

"He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver." Malachi 3:3

Have you ever watched a silversmith?

A silversmith holds a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up.

When a raw metal is refined it is put in the fire until it melts.

In refining silver, one needs to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.

The impurities separate from it and rise to the surface.

The impurities are then skimmed off, leaving only the pure metal.

If there is not heating or melting there would be no more purifying.

The silversmith, he has to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver is being refined.

As the impurities are skimmed off the top, the silversmith can see his reflection.

The surface is smooth and pure.

When God purifies us we are becoming more and more like His reflection.

He will keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire.

If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.

How do you know when you are being refined?

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

This very moment, someone needs to know that God is watching over them.

Whatever your going through, just know that you'll be a better person in the end.

"And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire." Matthew 3:10

Are you being changed?

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; all things are become new." II Corinthians 5:17

Have you forgotten your first love?

Do you see the similarities of the world in you?

Do you have the same standards of the world?

Are you busy imitating the world?

Have you misplaced God's calling for you?

"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, " II Corinthians 6:17a

After we meet Jesus we should be changed.

We should be able to see the changes in someone's life.

We are not to be the same any more.

There should be a life change.

It is the power of God that transforms a life!

Our whole mindset, our attitudes, our character should be changed after that meeting with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, The Master and Saviour.

Your co workers should notice the difference.

Your boss should see a noticeable difference.

Your spouse and children should see a difference.

Anyone who you are around the most should notice.

Even those that you are not around all the time should notice something different about you.

You should not be like anyone else.

You should not be like you were.

There should be some things that you have had to let go of.

It's ok.

Even though you can't see the end product, God has something bigger and better for you.

We have to want to fill our minds with what He wants for Us.

It is in Him that we find true freedom.

Are you willing to look silly for His sake?

Are you willing to swallow your pride for Him?

Are you going to compromise your reputation?

We all find ourselves in tight situations that we will be ridiculed for what we believe.

Are you going to be bold for the One who was embarrassed for us?

We have to be serious and bold.

There is no time to impress.

Are you willing to die for what you believe in?

Are you willing to be embarrassed for the sake of the truth?

When you become willing to do whatever it takes for the Lord, then it will require being a little foolish.

Our encounter with God will forever change us.

We need to stop praying for others to be changed, and have Him start with us!

Let Him permeate every remote place within your being.

One can not come to the Lord if we are still clinging on to all those worldly possessions.

We must say good bye to jealousy, pride, anger, lust, fear, idolatry, and release them at the feet of Jesus.

We must empty ourselves so that our heart and hands are ready for Jesus.

Have you made room for Jesus?

Do you have a head full of knowledge?

Do you have an intimate relationship with Him?

Have you let God's power radical infiltrate your life?

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." II Timothy 3:7

Wednesday, February 14, 2007

Master, this is my request.

"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him." John 4:23

Have you had an encounter with Jesus?

Have you been overwhelmed by His presence?

God is giving you an invitation to come closer and stand in His presence.

Have you been at the feet of Jesus?

There is just something about being at His feet!

When we are at His feet it is a very humbling experience.

We all must lay down everything, all that we are and all that we ever hope to be.

I want to be satisfied with Him.

I want to know that He has accepted my worship.

I don't want to get caught up in the small things and miss Him.

I want to know You more!

When you come and truly worship Him for who He is, then you will deliberately release those things that are precious to you.

When we truly worship Him, we will make a valuable sacrifice for a His glory.

You must give Him your finances.

You must give Him those desires and longings of your heart.

You must empty your hands and your heart of all those desires and longings in order to make room for what He has for you.

The Lord cherishes those things that you are willing to give up the most for His sake.

Nobody said that this would be easy, it is difficult and scary at the same time, but Oh, it is well worth it.

What God has in store you is far more better than we could imagine or even think.

You will wonder why you even held onto them in the first place.

Are you serious about meeting the Master?

Are you ready to sit at His feet?

Are you ready to experience Him?

Are you ready to position yourself to receive from Him?

Lord, forgive me for not giving all of me to you.

Lord, help me to take seriously the beauty of sitting humbly at your feet.

Lord, Thank You!

Thank You for the challenges and the calling to come into a more intimate relationship with You!

"Then said I, Woe is me! For I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged." Isaiah 6:5-7

Lord, touch my lips with coal.

Cell Phones vs. Bibles

I was given something in Women's Sunday Class and I wanted to pass it on.

Thank you Mrs. Beverly Johnson.

I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like cell phones?

What if we carried it around in our pockets and purses?

What if we turned back to get our Bible if we forgot it?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to our kids as gifts?

What if we used it as we traveled?

What if we used it in case of a emergency?

What if we upgraded to get the latest version?

This is something to make you go................hmmmmm.
Where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing.

Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill!

Are you living your dream?

"Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy and for thy truths sake." Psalm 115:1

"Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high. Who humbleth Himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth? He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;" Psalm 113:4-7

Do you have a dream that is hidden deep within your heart?

Did you have a dream as a child that got lost along the way?

Have you put other priorities above those than pursuing your dream?

Do your present circumstances make your dream seem out of the question?

What is holding you back?

Do you have a dream?

Most of the time your dream is something that you have always wanted to do, or what you thought that you would really be good at.

So what is it that you love to do the most?

What is it that you are really good at?

God gave each of us a dream.

Some of us choose to follow and embrace our dream, our destiny, but the majority of us do not follow our dream.

What kind of sacrifices would you have to make to follow your dream.

When you start to follow your dream, you are stepping out of your comfort zone.

Your comfort zone, that place of familiarity.

That place where you are the most comfortable.

That place where we feel safe.

The place where there is no danger, no uncertainty, and no discomfort.

The familiar zone where we know that we can succeed, look good and feel happy.

The comfort zone is a hard place to leave.

Sometimes our comfort zone can be a hindrance.

It can keep us from doing the very thing we most want to do.

It can keep us from that thing in which we were called to do.

Who knows what you will encounter as you take that first step out, that step of faith.

Remember Moses?

Moses was called to help bring the children out of Israel.

In order for Moses to fulfill his dream, he has to step out of his comfort zone.

"Come now therefore I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth My people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

And Moses said unto God, Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
And He said, Certainly I will be with thee;" Exodus 3:10-12a

Could you see Moses standing there before the burning bush filling with fear, and inadequacy?

Could you tell in his voice that Moses felt unworthy?

Moses was called when he was younger, but he went about trying to help his people the wrong way.

Moses had committed a murder, then fled the scene of the crime.

Moses also felt unable to fulfill what God had for him to do.

"And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue." Exodus 4:10

Do you think that Moses was feeling reluctant?

What kind of fears do you think were going through his head?

"And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? Or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing or the blind? Have not I the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say." Exodus 4:11-12

Moses was chosen and gifted for his mission.

The best part of all God said that He would go with him.

Did you know that our success doesn't rely oe depend on us?

God's character is in each of us.

Our dream is within us.

Have you lost track of that dream in which you were born with?

"Your eyes saw my unformed substance, an in your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them." Psalm 139:16 Amplified Bible

God has given us an opportunity to discover the dream which He has put in your heart.

Whatever you feel is true or not true about you know that You were created to be someone special!

Some of us have embraced our dream.

Some of us have taken that first step out of our comfort zone.

We were excited about pursuing after our dream.

Then all the sudden we ran into a huge obstacle.

It happens to all of us at some point.

We all run into that wall of fear.

Fear, that thing that left us standing in our tracks.

As we stand there we begin to wonder if we are doing right.

If we are doing right, then why do we feel so uncomfortable?

Why are we anxious, full of fear, full of doubt?

Why are we feeling weak and incompetent, and sick?

It is cause you stepped out of your comfort zone.

You stepped out of you familiar box into the unknown.

Don't let your feelings put you right back in that box.

You can overcome them!

You can get past the fear, the rejection, the uneasiness.

Don't let fear of the unknown keep you from your dream.

Fear is a natural human response to that thing which we think is a threat.

"For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." II Timothy 1:7

God asks us to be strong and be of courage.

"Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: For Thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." Deuteronomy 31:6

Ok, so what is courage?

Courage is not the absence of fear, but choosing to act in spite of fear.

When you act in courage, you will find out that fear can not stop you.

When you act in courage those thing that you thought were you limits are now you starting place.

If you are struggling don't worry.

Generally, if you are struggling you are doing something right.

The only way to reach your dream is to act.

Ya know, that if you are waiting till you feel worthy you may never begin your journey.

We are not worthy and will never feel worthy.

"I am not worthy of the least of all my mercies, and of all truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant;" Genesis 32:10a

If you continue to sit and wait until you feel worthy, you will never live your dream.

"But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty." I Corinthians 1:27

God is accessible to all people.

God wants to know if you really want His gift.

God wants to know if you want His dream working in your life.

Are you going to retreat from that future you really want?

Are you going to settle for less?

Are you going to go on that journey of a life time?

Are you going to embrace what God has put in your heart?

Are you going to be and do what you were created for?

Are you ready for ministry?

"Preach the word; be instant in season, and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." II Timothy 4:2

Lord makes us vessels unto honor.

Fill us with your Holy Spirit and send us out into your harvest fields.

Let Your anointing come upon us as we have never experienced before.

We are a nation adrift, as we are confused by the priorities of life.

We are at the point where we call evil good, and good evil.

How did we get like this?

We have taken God out of schools, out of our lives.

We have gotten to the place where God is "use only as needed".

How sad!

There are many ministers that step behind the pulpit so that can pay their bills.

They might just have head knowledge, know the scriptures, but how many in their congregation actually know God and know about Him?

How many would say that they have an intimate relationship with Him.

Most people who go to church only want to have their ear tickled.

Most people want to feel good.

They go to church to have the pastor lift up their self esteem.

We are to crucify our self and take up His cross, His ways, not ours.

There are pastors out there that are men pleasers and they compromise the Word of God.

They preach for results.

God never once called us to preach for results, but to listen to His voice, to say what He says, how He says it and when He says it.

Our values of late are not built upon the unshakable biblical principles.

The foundation that we have built upon is greed.

How to accumulate wealth at any cost.

We have based our foundation upon man's strength, the sensual appetites, and that of all out rebellion against God.

God has not called us to play church.

He has not called us to please the masses.

We are not to pacify people.

God is looking for those who will stand true to His word.

God is looking for people who don't have to be recognized for their accomplishments.

God is looking for people who do not have to be rewarded for doing good.

God is looking for those who are happy to be in the battle.

God is looking for those who have zero tolerance for those who conduct church as usual.

God is looking into your heart.

What does it say about you?

We all will be held accountable for our choices.

We are to seek the One who saved us.

We are to step out of our comfort zone.

We are to be set apart.

We are to help recover and rebuild those lives that have been devastated, left desolate by Satan.

We are here to be a vehicle that God can use.

We are to let Him flow through us, to be that vessel of honor that will bring glory to God, and glory to all.

I don't know about you, but I want to be able too fulfill that destiny in which God has fro me.

I can't do that if I care about what man's agendas are.

I can't do that if I am out for performance and not what God has called me to do or say.

We need top step out of darkness and into that glorious light.

Lord open our eyes that we may see you more clearly.

"In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and darkness comprehended it not." John 1:4-5

Let's let the light of Jesus show up everywhere we go.

We are here to show the glory of God to all men, and to destroy the works of the enemy.

Lord, teach us to cry out for more of you.

Teach us to flow in Your presence.

Teach us to walk with You more deeply.

Let us have a heart after You.

Lord, let "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10

Sunday, February 04, 2007

What's troubling you?

"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you." I Peter 4:12

Are you having difficulties?

Do your problems seem to overwhelm you?

God doesn't ask you if you want to go through a trial.

God allows trials and test to come our way so that we may learn from them.

The test or trial are either going to make us stronger and better, or cause us to be more critical, and insistent on things being our own way.

If we are insistent then we will be going around that mountain again until we have learned what God wants us to learn.

Are you growing in Christ?

Are you maturing in Him?

How is your relationship with God?

What is your level of intimacy with Him?

Our tests and trials should make us depend more upon Him.

It is through our test and trials that we learn to understand God's purpose.

Jesus never promised that He would take our hardships away.

He told us that we would encounter some tough trials and tests because we belong to Him.

So why should we be surprised that we are being tested?

Being tested is just part of the Christian life.

If we are not tried by the fire how then can we come out as pure Gold?

Someone said that the pure Gold in heaven is different than the pure Gold we have here on earth.

The pure gold in heaven is transparent, you can see right through it.

The gold here on earth has a color, it has an element in it that gives it it's color, but if you take that element out it becomes transparent.

"That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ." I Peter 1:7

What a better way to show how strong our love for the Father.

There might be a lot of shortcuts that have helped you in everyday life, but there is no shortcuts in spiritual maturity.

We cannot continue to mature in Jesus without having our faith tried and tested.

Will we always like it?

No.

Will they better us, help us in life's journey?

Yes.

Rejoice, He is not done training you yet.

He wants to cultivate new ground in your life.

God wants to open up new territories, those that have never been explored.

Through the tests and trial we will learn what God wants to do in us for His glory.

Will it get hard?

Sure it will.

Will I be tempted to quit?

Yes.

Just keep your heart and your head focused on Him.

Keep doing the will of God, He will bless.

Keep your eyes fixed upon Him through it all.

Don't get so focused on the problem that you miss out on what God wants to do in you.

Thank Him for training you.

Thank Him for giving you strength to make it through.

Thank Him for the trial.

Thanks Him for the end result.

Just start to give Him praise for making a way where there seems to be no way.

Thank Him for the opportunity to stretch your faith and make it stronger.

"The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all: and His tender mercies are all over His works. All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee." Psalm 145:8-11

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not upon thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord and depart form evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones." Proverbs 3:5-8

Are you abiding in Him?

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me." John 15:4

Have you seen your Father's face lately?

Do you savor God's Word?

Do you apply what you have read to your daily circumstances?

How close are you with God?

Do you want more of God or more with God?

Is there a difference?

Yes.

God wants us to chose to be more with Him, than to do for Him!

Abiding is not about doing more.

It isn't?

Abiding is to remain or to stay closely connected.

Abiding is a vital connection with Him.

Abide is a command that we were given.

It is not a suggestion.

When we abide we are enjoying, and experiencing His friendship and His glory.

To abide we must act.

I thought you said that it wasn't doing more?

It's not about doing more, it's about having that experience with Him.

Abiding is an act of faith.

Abiding is about having a relationship with God, not a sensation.

Abiding is something that does not come naturally.

When we abide we are the ones who are doing the moving.

It takes effort to abide in Him.

Abiding comes with a price.

Look at all the joy and fulfillment, and fruit that will come out of it

"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing." John 15:5

A limb on the ground cannot produce new leaves, can it?

When we do not abide in Him, we become stale and stagnant, we will wither and die and will become of no spiritual use.

It is when we stay connected we draw that much needed nourishment.

When we stay connected to Him, we learn to recognize God's voice.

It is when we stay connected to Him, nothing will hold you back from reaching that most inner place in Him.

When we don't keep Abiding in Him our true destiny will diminish.

We must make God our first priority!

When God becomes our first priority, we will be more concerned with what He thinks.

We will want to please God.

No matter what anyone may think about us.

Do you have intimacy with God?

Is it your first priority each day?

Do you leave God on your bedside table or in your study and go on with life as normal?

Just reading and praying are not enough.

It is not just about reading about the person who wrote the book, but more about knowing the person who wrote the book.

When we read God's Word it is a love letter from Him to you, it is a treasure.

"Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16

We are to enjoy Him!

It is not just a have to thing that we do, it will become a want to, as our focus has changed.

Do you have that one on one time with Him?

When we spend time with Him it is a great honor.

It becomes something that we get to do.

We are to have that abiding fellowship with Him!

There is a freedom in God.

"Stand fast therefore in thr liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." Galatians 5:1

When we are with Him, we are to be ourself, relax and talk to Him.

In any good relationship this should be true.

God loves you!

It is that deep love that keeps drawing you back.

It is His love, and all that He is and all that He has proven to be that keeps us coming back to Him.

It is a deepening relationship of who our Lord and Savior is.

Abiding in Him should never be a duty.

Abiding is a breakthrough to having that quality time with God.

A quiet place where you can read, take notes, listen to what He has to say, talk out loud if you like, and cry if need be.

A place of cleansing, a place of treasure.

"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us, God is love; and He that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in Him." I John 4:16

Abiding is above all the most important friendship that you will ever have in this life.

Abiding is not about how much faith you have.

Abiding does not have any measure of how much you know.

Abiding is being thirsty for more of God.

More of God in your life.

More of God in your thoughts.

More of God in your activities.

More to see God.

More to love Him.

More to hear and respond to Him.

More of Him as a person.

It is simply enjoying His company!

God created us to be incomplete.

He created us with less so the He could give us more.

Abiding more, will mean doing less, as God will reward you supernaturally by mulitplying your efforts.

What do you appreciate about your best friend?

Could it be that they don't care or that they can look past your faults and still make you feel good.

God does that and more.

He looks past your sins.

He sees only a beloved child, a worthy heir.

He is patient with you.

In His love we are nourished, so cherished.

He loves You and wants to share His life with you.

"As the deer panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?" Psalm 42:1-2
