Do you give God a Sacrifice of Praise?

"By Him therefore let us offer a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name." Hebrews 13:15 NASB

A sacrifice is something that is going to cost you.

Everyday praise is to be on our lips.

God is not only interested in the praise we give Him when things are going well.

God wants you to praise Him when you are in the midst of a great trial, a great difficulty, grief, sickness, oppression, depression, temptation(s), relational difficulties, and we can't forget about financial problems.

We must learn to praise the Lord out loud.

When we praise God, rather than being drawn aside by thoughts of depression, darkness, and doubt , we activate a faith factor within us that cannot be shaken or distorted.

We are the Only ones who can yield to the enemy's attacks.

God never yields; and as long as He is our goal, our hope, and the focus of our praise, we will come out winners.

When we give God the praise even in our difficult times, it means all the more to Him.

Anyone can praise God when everything is going good.

But can you praise God when all hell breaks loose, when things are difficult?

There is something about the costliness of praise during those difficult times that touches the heart of God.

God's Spirit alters the atmosphere of our way of looking at things, and things begin to be possible which never were possible.

It is the action of sacrifice that explodes us into the area of faith.

If we have something in our hearts, it will invariably find a way of expressing itself through our mouths.

"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh." John 6:45

You can not separate what is in your heart from what comes out your mouth.

The mouth is like a faucet that lets out whatever is being held inside of ones heart.

When our hearts are filled with the Word of God and praise, we are standing in faith.

That faith will then be expressed out of our mouth.

So for that faith to move in our lives, we must have a way of expressing it...

We express it through praise.

So when we speak praise to God we are giving expression and life to the action of faith within us.

That is why praise must be spoken aloud.

When we give God a sacrifice of praise that is why it come before God as a sweet aroma, and touches His heart.

"I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Psalm 34:1
