Do you have real security?

"And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope;" Job 11:18

If we are only living to create an earthly legacy then that is sad.

A wiser use of our time would be to build an eternal legacy.

Real security can only be found in that which can never be taken away from you.

Your relationship with Christ.

"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." John 10:28

Do you realize that those whom God has called, predestinated, those that the Father gave the Son, not one will be lost.

No matter how much we think we mess up, God is right there in the midst.

He has not let us go, even though we think that we have left Him.

He said that no one can pluck you outta His hand.

What a promise knowing that He is not going to let us go.

We might wander for a short time, might think that He is not there,

God has not left our side.

We may not always hear Him, but He is there.

"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me." John 5:39

Everything comes from God.

"Everything comes from God alone. Everything lives by His power, and everything is for His glory." Romans 11:36 Living Bible

Everything that exists does so for the glory of God.

God"s glory is the expression of His goodness.

God's goodness is...
The essence of His nature.
The weight of His importance.
The splendor of His radiance.
The demonstration of His power.
His very presence.

Creations reveals His glory.

We can not add anything to His glory!

Everything created by God reflects His glory in some way.

"The Lord has made everything for His own purpose." Proverbs 16:4 NLT

Trusting God completely?

"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13

Trusting God completely means that we should have enough faith, trusting in the fact that He knows what is best for our lives.

Did you know that trusting God is also considered a way of worship?

"And I will give them a heart to know Me, that I Am the Lord their God: for they shall return unto Me with their whole heart." Jeremiah 24:7

Are you troubled?

"The reason why many are still troubled, still seeking, still making little forward progress is because they haven't yet come to the end of themselves. We"re still trying to give orders, and interfering with God's work within us." A. W. Tozer

We don't want to admit to limitations.

We don't want to admit that we are not in charge of anything.

When faced with our own limitations we react with irritation, anger, and resentment.

Life is a struggle.

A struggle with God, that in no way are we hoping to win.

The more we let God in, the more we have surrendered, the more we truly become as He is.

It is a life demonstrated by obedience and trust.

"The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him." Lamentations 3:24-25

"Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him." Psalm 37:7a

Looking in the natural?

God's Spirit alters the atmosphere of our way of looking at things.

Things begin to be possible which were never possible before.

The heart of Worship

"He is thy praise, and He is thy God," Deuteronomy 10:21a

The heart of worship is surrender.

Can we say as Mary did.."I am the Lord's servant, and I am willing to accept whatever He wants." Luke 1:38 NLT

There is nothing more powerful than a totally surrendered life in the hands of God.

Surrender is best demonstrated in obedience and trust.

Everyone is surrendered to something or someone.

If you have not surrendered to God then what?

Have you surrendered to opinions, expectations of others, money, resentment, fear, pride, ego, lusts?

We were created to worship Him.

"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things and for Thy pleasure they are and were created." Revelation 4:11

When we are not worshipping Him, we are worshipping idols.

An idol is anything that takes you continually away from God.

We might be free in a sense what we surrender to, but not free from the consequences of that choice.

Do we make it our goal to please Him?

"Wherefore we labour that whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him." 2 Corinthians 5:9

One cannot fulfill God's purpose in their life if it is filled with self will, pride or personal ambition.

How many times we as Jesus to sit in the drivers seat, yet we don't take our hands off the wheel.

We need to let go and let God have control.

Control of the circumstance, complete control of of life, of everything we say and do.

Nothing under His control is or can ever be outta control.

"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God." 2 Corinthians 3:5
