A God bigger than our challenges.

A God Bigger than our Challenges.

"Ye are of God Little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, he that is in the world." 1 John 4:4

How often do we find ourselves in a position of begging God for mercy?

How often do we say....Here I am again Lord, I need you! I belong to You! You are in control of my life, and I am trusting in You, for You never fail.

Personally we should say these at the beginning of our day, putting our trust, and our hope in Him daily. We all make mistakes and maybe not always pay attention to details or things that are real simple solutions.

I believe that God lets things happen so that we are aware we can not solve problems on our own. That we must rely on the One who could solve the problems for us.

God is in control of All our steps, both the ones that are filled with stress and the ones that are filled with peace and joy.

God is bigger than any of our life challenges; bigger than any of life’s problems that have been thrown at us.

But

Do we have complete confidence that God is able to take care of any and all situations?

Do we think that He can provide an answer to any question, situation or problem that we have or that might arise?

Do we know with a certainty that God is in control, always in control of our life?

Have we not realized that the God of Creation can get us through any type of crisis if we trust Him?

"But let those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because Thou defendest them: let them also that love Thy name be joyful in Thee." Psalm 5:11

He will never leave us, turn His back on us, reject us or withdrawal His love from us.He delights in showing us again and again the He is the source of our strength, our provision, and our protection.

"God is our refuge and our strength a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1b

Do we know absolutely without a shadow of a doubt that God is in control of every second of our life?

Who is in control of your life?

Is He in control?

"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God." 2 Corinthians 3:5

Did you know that the opposite of faith is fear?

Most of us who are fearful in this life is also doubtful that God will be present, willing or capable of dealing with the crisis or problem at hand.

Does your faith say Yes, God is here or do you keep on fretting about the problem at hand and therefore try to resolve the issue yourself?

Whatever our challenge we are to keep our focus on God, not what might become.

He is the answer to All types of challenges or problems that may come our way.

He challenges our faith in what we know to be true about Him.

He wants to provide All we need.

Especially that peace which can carry us through anything.

Do we chose to believe God or our emotions or the circumstances that surround us?

God is working through our fears or upsetting circumstances.

But

Are we allowing negative emotions to linger in our heart?

There are times when we are hit from the blindside by accident, tragedy, or undesirable situations. There are also internal impulses or desires that can cause us twinges or inner anguish or need. Then there are times we will find ourselves in a difficult situation.

or

What about those times it feels as if someone has just pulled the rug right out from underneath your feet.

These are just some of the kind of situations that open the door for anxiety, panic, and fear.

Do we let those negative unproductive emotions come in and selltle in our heart?
or

Do we take action or regain peace, confidence and trust in God?

Everyone of us have moments of anxiety, panic and fear at times, but the error comes when we accept these emotions, and we allow them to linger, and they gradually find a resting place in our heart.

When that happens these emotions become constant and long lasting. We are called to face trouble head on, because God is with us.

This like David facing Goliath. David went running towards Goliath, as David had confidence and faith in God based upon God's previous deliverance of him from a bear and a lion. David ran with wisdom from God knowing that he had chosen exactly the right stones, all the while trusting God. scripture reference 1 Samuel 17

Our faith and confidence in God grows as He reveals His faithfulness to us over time.

We do not have to give in, sink beneath, or become defeated by circumstances. I believe that sickness and trouble are for but a season and definitely for a reason. We are to endure, persevere, to learn, to grow, and to overcome whatever is thrown our way till the very end.

We may not completely understand God's purposes, but we can be assured that God is in control!

God is absolutely Sovereign!

There is nothing related to each one of us that is beyond His watchful eye or His loving care.

Everything that we experience, God can and will turn to the eternal good when we put our trust in Him.

Do you believe God when He says that He loves you?

Do you trust Him to help fulfill those things that He leads you to undertake?

Do you believe that God is Sovereign?

What do you believe about God and His relationship to you?

Why would I ask or even put an emphasis on what you believe about God?

If you don’t believe that God is absolutely Sovereign you are essentially saying that you don’t materially, physically, emotionally, or spiritually believe that God desires or will provide for you fully. Nor will you also believe that God considers you to be worthy and loveable. Which means that you don’t think God cares about your loneliness, your crisis or any problem that comes your way.

That would likely mean that you, my friend do not trust God to do what He wants to do for you, and through you, nor will there be any peace within that can Only come from Him.

Why not take a chance and ask the Lord to help you address that inner conflict, those rising problems, or those that you though you could fix but only made a bigger mess.

His desire is that there would be a calmness in your heart; so that you can truly enjoy your life, your relationships with other people, but most of all your relationship with Him.

Genuine long lasting, satisfying happiness is something that can only be found in a relationship with Jesus!

God wants to connect those pieces of your life, and calm the agitation and turmoil connected with the way you feel within.

Why not take a chance and ask the Lord to help you address the inner conflict that you feel?

Prayer shifts our focus away from the problem to the One who can give the answer, solution or even the next step to take.

Prayer takes the focus off of our self, our pain, our confusion and takes it the Father who knows All, controls All, has All power, and is All loving.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:6

The wilderness of this world is conspiring against us to help us lose our way.

We need to know that the Father is walking right there beside us each and every step we take.

The more we realize that He is right beside us, the more we will be walking with Him in faith and not fear.

There can be no hidden agendas or manipulative schemes at work in the back of your mind all the while you are hoping a peaceful relationship, it isn’t going to happen.

Sooner or later that agenda or manipulation is going to be felt. One simply can not think about God or His Word and think about something negative at the same time. We are to meditate on the good things.

I will meditate in Thy precepts and have respect unto Thy ways.” Psalm 119:15

God knows absolutely everything about our situation.

He knows how to heal the sick, take brokenness and turn it into wholeness, and take the weak and make them strong.

He knows how to bring reconciliation and love into those areas where need be.

He loves us unconditionally, immeasurably, and knows everything about us, but loves us still.

He is a loving Father who is in total control.

When we learn to trust Him, our anxiety or fear will disappear.

We have got to come to that place in our life when we can say…. God I will trust you. You are in total control of my life, not just some of the time, but All the time.

I see God as my sustainer, my protector, my provider, my strength, and my preserver of life. Do you?

I know that He will forgive me if I sin, and that I am eternally secure in my salvation.
How about you?

Each one of us have a different view point.

There is tremendous freedom in accepting that we don’t have to be pressured into conformity like everyone else.

God created each of us individually, and uniquely with sensitivity and personality.
Each of us have a life story to be written.

God is still working on mine, as He is yours, and it is one chapter a time.

I know that God will provide a happy ending to mine story. How about yours?

I have no doubt that God can melt away what ever is crippling you so that you can truly experience the depth of His peace. Until we have peace with God we will never truly know what true peace is.

My son if you accept My words and store up My commands with you, turning your ear towards wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as silver, and search for it as a hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find knowledge of God." Proverbs 2:1-5

God promises to respond and give help needed.

Lord, show me those area’s of my life in which I am still stubborn or have a rebellious attitude. Thank you Lord, for your help to regain the focus of all thing back to you!

Remember there is no substitute for being in the Word daily reading it as nourishment for food for the body.

There is no greater a higher source of wisdom than the Bible.

We don’t always see or know what your purposes.

But.

I will trust in you. I will put my trust in you God!

And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee: for Thou, O Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee.” Psalm 9:10
